Looks like a heavily modified 2000 series??
I usually like sea green, but here... ??

That was once a 3000 series bass. The long scale (33.25") model was a 3001. The short scale (30") model was a 3000. The vast majority of them were autumnglo though other colors appear on occasion.

Glad the guy said he knew nothing about guitars! I suppose he'll say he lost his glasses next!
