Hey Sheena,

The seller states that HE built it from a Korean copy. He states it is a REPLICA, so it's not legit...

Ehm... lemme get this straight: it's a replica of a Korean copy?

Strange, isn't it?

CORRECT!!! It apparently was a copy to begin with before he made some changes...

Here's how the ad reads....

"1959 Replica"

"Built it, loved it, time for it to go.... you know the story. This nice replica guitar began life as a Korean import with two pickups and very cheesy hardware, electronics, and plastic parts".

So, it appears it STARTED out as a Korean COPY, then, the seller added his own personal touches...

Thanks, Tony...
A question: is an improved (modified?) faker more fake or less fake than a natural faker?

He doesn't mention Rickenbacker anywhere but still says "Capri" as well as a few model names.

Also, "Matching custom plexi truss rod cover with logo (not shown)"
I imagine it is "not shown for fear of getting my butt sued."
Clever boy.

I think that was meant to be "Crapi", an apt descriptor ... Image
