Paul, any pics of anything that you are working on? =)
Sorry but you have spoiled us. We need our "fix".

Jwilli, I have a hunch that the Curmudge'll have some really yummy pictures of something special very soon!

Jwilli, thanks for posting this! I usually make that post and almost did earlier this evening. "I need a fix 'cuz I'm goin' down..."

Here's something I've had on the bench for a couple of weeks, and I just completed the woodwork today.
It's a 320 being converted into a 325, with special paint.
I added the soundhole (you may remember the discussion on sound hole size and placement a couple of weeks back) and narrowed the headstock so it would appear less like a boat paddle.
This one will be painted later this week. Wait 'till you see the color! Plus, one very unique Bigsby is going on it, too.

I have a bunch of other projects on the bench right now, including your very own 615, Jwilli, which is getting a bit more work to the fretboard before assembling it. I am still not 100% happy with it, but I will be when it leaves here...

Oooohhhh, too cool, Paul!
Is your 325 gonna be Turquoise?

This is a customer's guitar. Color will be something new.

Paul, When you convert the headstock to the smaller version, what happens to the tuner hole placement? My headstock is the bigger version and wouldn't mind a conversion.

Paul, the soundhole placement turned out graceful and tasteful. Nice choice. I hope the color ends up one of the transparent ones as the grain of the wood is beautiful.

Only one truss rod? Am I showing my ignorance of early models?

Paul, very nice. That slash sound hole looks right at home on that 325.

Very nice Paul. The sound hole is perfect. Great scale, great position. Nice touch on the narrow end.
John is right, the grain on the body begs a trans or burst finish. Or...?

I just love this headstock Paul. Another 11 out of 10 project on the go.

The headstock had .150" (a bit more than 1/8") taken off each side. The top contour was left "as is". The tuner placement also remains the same.

Awesome. It seems there as fewer true craftsmen everyday.
I have great respect for such talent!

Thanks Paul, do you work off of a template? (hint hint)
