Some of the 620/6 bluebursts I've seen look like figured maple. Really nice!

Howdy,

That's a lovely Blueburst. For me, 620's, 4003's and 360 WB's look dynamite with sunburst finishes!

Wow, that's beautiful. I've had one of these on order for what feels like forever. I really hope it looks that great when it arrives.

Greetings,
The 620/6 BlueBurst your referring to 0608222 I brought about 3 weeks ago. I can only tell you it looks better in person. If anyone lives in the N.Y. area and is looking for a RIC at a decent price the Music Zoo is the place to go. They are very knowledgeable, love RIC's and have plenty on-hand.
BTW: This is my 1st post on this forum.

Hi Melissa,

I'm so sorry that I brought your guitar, but look at the bright side, when your in California this summer, having fun, and swimming in the Pacific ocean I'll be stuck back here in N.Y. playing my BBR.

Welcome, Frank. I've got to call your bluff on your post to Melissa, though. "Stuck back here in N.Y. playing my BBR" doesn't sound like much of a hardship!

Your post reminds me of a lyric that always stuck in my head: "In New York City, I was born and raised/And I threw it away/Nothing to do but play guitar all day/And I threw it away" -- Angel Corpus Cristi (as covered by Luna). And, of course, Luna has a classic song called "California (All the Way)", so both coasts are covered by the reference.

Hi Squid,

Thanks for the welcome. I guess your right it's not much of a hardship being here in N.Y. with my RIC...

One of my favorite N.Y. songs is Lou Reed's Dirty Blvd. Wow he hit the nail on the head with that song.

Hi Frank.... welcome! I reckon a 620/6 BBR would just have to look better in person!

Hi Howard,

I was only kidding. It doesn't look better in person, no sir as a matter of fact it looks so bad in person that I have to keep it locked up in it's case when not in use! Boy, you would think RIC would make these guitars look better in person!

Hey Dean,

Yea, the Zoo is a great place! I'm really tired of Sam Ash and Guitar Center. I really love that they know what they are talking about and didn't try to sell any guitar that I really didn't want...
I didn't "Zymol" yet because I wasn't sure I could do it to a new guitar. I posted a message and Jingle-Jangle gave me the okay. So hopefully tomorrow it will get Zymoled...
