Wasn't quite sure which section to post this in but I thought I'd post a link to our little Rutles project, Ouch! Lot's of Rickenbacker content... Look closely and you may recognize Ronn Roberts on the Fireglo Ric bass. I'm on the Fireglo 615 Rutlebacker and Brian is on the 325c58.

Terrific stuff.
Where would "Ouch" be without that inimitable Rick jangle?

The only thing missing is the native girl who runs after the band.

Okay, Glenn. I took your advice and made a different version from a couple of different video sources.

She looks just as fine as she did back in '78.
What year 615 is the tribute band's model?

Glenn the 615 is really a 91 610 that I customized with scatterwound toasters, accent vibrola, roller bridge, vintage knobs and"Rutlebacker" TRC. Neil Innes, AKA Roin Nasty of the Rutle and Monty Python, wrote all of the Rutle songs for the film. I met him a couple years ago and he was kind enough to play the guitar and autograph it for me. He's a very talented musician. He was also the singing minstrel in Monty Python singing the "Tale of Sir Robin"
