"Soldiers of Love" is The Derailers' newest CD, with the title track being a cover of the song that was performed by the Beatles for the BBC and is on "Live at the BBC".
This CD is more of The Derailers' Bakersfield meets Liverpool sound.

Only if Buck Owens got on the wrong transatlantic bus.
There is one snarly Gretsch in the front of many mixes, but that's Liverpool-by-way-of Nashville anyway, even for George Harrison.
Title track is a Marshall Crenshaw composition, done straight, no chaser by the boys. It can be found on MC's first album. Done by him, it has echoes of the Beatles, but only faintly. Performed with Austin twang, it loses those associations.
For Bakersfield pure and unadulterated, these Austin guys rock, though!
