This one is still a ways away, but I have been looking for something in a 6 string bass, and the Modulus seems to be a good choice. Since I live at least a day away from any place that might actually have one of these, I am curious whether anyone here has any experience with them, and if you have any comments. How big are these necks (thick - wide I can deal with)?
I like the idea of the graphite neck and I like the looks (which can't be said for 99% of the basses out there). So....?
Opinions on Modulus Quantum 6?

I played a Quantum 6-er several months ago and was actually close to getting it but that is when my Trans Green 4004Cii became available so the Ric won out.
The Modulus neck was an easy adjustment from my Rics thickness wise. For me the profile felt quite flat (somewhat thin) which helped since the neck was plenty wide. I had no issues playing the full range....it felt very comfortable. I do have large-ish hands though so take my review with that in mind. Great bass with wonderful crisp, clear tone.

I had a Modulus 6 string a few years ago (not sure what model - I think it may have been a Quantum). It was quite a nice bass. As Brian says, the neck was not overly wide, but very flat and comfortable. It was also very even sounding across all the strings, without major dead spots. Very nice bass, but I didn't play it enough to warrant keeping it around.
