1961 Photo, 1962 Hofner (?)

Here is a signed photo of the Beatles that is coming up for auction. The seller claims the photo was taken December 1961, but Paul is holding his 1962, right? Or am I wrong? Any thoughts here?
The description reads: "In December of 1961, Brian Epstien called Albert Marrion and asked him if he could take some pictures of a band he had recently become the manager of. Brian and The Beatles showed up at Marrion's studio in Wallesy on Sunday, December 17, 1961. Many photographs were taken, but in the end only sixteen exist today and the rest, as they say, is history. Fantastic vintage glossy 8.5 x 6.5 Albert Marrion group photo of the Fab Four, taken in December of 1961 during the Beatles first professional photo session, with the band clad in their leather outfits and holding their instruments, with original drummer Pete Best behind his kit, signed and inscribed in red ballpoint “To Meron, Love from John Lennon xx,” “Love to Meron from George Harrison xxxx,” “To Meron love from Paul McCartney xxx,” and “Lots of love to Meron from Pete Best xxx.” Best was the original Beatles drummer and was replaced by Ringo Starr in August of 1962. At the time of this photo the Beatles had not yet tasted fame on a nationwide or international level as of yet, but looking into their eyes, you can see the steely determination in John’s eyes and the intensity in George’s, while Paul continues to look cute. Best, possibly realizing the events to come, looks downtrodden and distracted. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Beatles expert Frank Caiazzo, stating the signatures date from early 1962. In fine condition, with scattered light creasing and surface marks to image side, as well as impressions from signatures on reverse and some light bends and creases to signature side as well as photographer’s stamp to center, with a bit of stamp just touching Best’s signature. Certain to excite any diehard Beatles fan with a chance to acquire original Fab Four signatures all together."
