Dats me with my 04 Monte in the band playing at our retirement party Sunday (my wife's, really, I have two more months to go). Gotta love that Monte! Gold "Signature Edition" pickguard and Hipshot bridge/tailpiece featured.

Here's my Monty (8 yr. old Sheltie/Shepherd mix).....
....and here's "Monty in action" (to stick to the thread theme)....
Sorry, every time I see this type of thread title I am tempted to post my own "Monty".

Nice pic, Paul. Is that your Marshall or your guitar player's?
Nice Doggie, Brian. Who's @$$ is he kickin'?

Philip, the Marshall belongs to the guitarist. My rig is behind me, a Gallien Krueger 700RB 15 combo with a 2X10 auxiliary speaker below. You can just see the neck of my one-off cherry red Hofner super deluxe behind me, too.
I'll try to find another photo to show both of them better.

"(8 yr. old Sheltie/Shepherd mix)"
Would that make it a Shelterd? Or Sheptie?

Fellows, are you on the right pills?
I think so?...

"Nice Doggie, Brian. Who's @$$ is he kickin'?"
That's Skippy (Dobie/Scottie mix). Unfortunately he had a heart problem we didn't know about and we lost our little buddy a few months ago.....just a wonderful dog.
"Would that make it a Shelterd? Or Sheptie?"
That would make him a mutt.
Sorry about the sidetrack Paul. Your Hofner looks great in action. I remember playing it in Columbus and was quite taken with how well it played and resonated. I expected to not like it and was pleasantly surprised.

That's sad about the dog. My pets are like children to me. When I've lost one I've cried like a baby.
