Miguel; it's as if you flipped the p.guard over and are looking at it from the bottom.
Arrow is the ground connection. Anytime you see an arrow on a schematic it's a ground designation. Most ground contacts are to the case of the pots & one on the swtich and one on the output jack(s). You should get some easy electronics books or there a couple books on guitars schematics/wiring that are out as well. You could most likely find them on JK Lutherie's site.
I find this stuff simply fascinating. It's always interesting to me to see how somebody achieved wiring up something as simple as a guitar. There's so many ways to do it.
