The legend of the Red Rick

It sounds like total BS, but there is a Web site called
www.bluesband.com with a story about a red Rickenbacker bass that is supposedly cursed. It's called The Legend of the Red Rick."
Like I said, has to be total BS, but worth the read.

They could have made up better stories and made it more Spinal Tapish. The red Ric in the picture is a 4003 with black hardware was not around in '69.

As I said in the other thread devoted to this subject, that was a marketing (Ad Ranch does branding) company that wrote that story.
They have intentionally tried to create an urban myth. Wacky stories sell and are repeated or passed on and if a brand is present, the brand is remembered.

LAAAAAAAME!!! I also like the way they don't go into any level of detail at all...really helps out the story in the credibility departement.
