RIC still does not have stock of the push/pull switch for the 4003. Is there another after-market supplier that has this push/pull pot?

When I saw them as being discontinued on Rickenbacker's website, I had to order one from Mike Parks too for my 4001CS clone. This bass, as with all of my basses will be "a little different". I hope to have it finished by the confluence.

They're NOT discontinued, they're out of stock. The new, improved version should be available very soon. As I posted somewhere, the RoHS compliance for Europe slipped delivery a bit from our supplier.

My mistake then. Part#07345 on RIC's boutique says it's been discontinued. By it's decription, I thought it was the push-pull pot kit.

OK, you're off the hook. It's either a software thing or they decided to give it a new SKU, since it's new and improved, and it hasn't been enabled for boutique sale.

Whew....I was starting to sweat for a minute there. Nothing like getting the smack down from J.H.! What's going to be new and improved about it?

Except for the C Series, all pot values are changing across the board. It works better and meets the new environmental laws for no lead, cadmium, or chromium.

As I guessed, it was a SKU change. Current part is #07346 and it will be in stock no later than the end of this month.
