I know that some of us have our Rickenbackers that are just out of our reach financially but what are your guys' "dream" guitars or basses?

Or even the ones that got away?

For me, it has to be any "F" series...two thumbs up.

Make that four thumbs up!

Also, a 4005.

As long as they are reasonably priced a 1963 375FG (my first Rickenbacker) and a JG 350SH. Any production year will do me on that one.

I am still looking and patiently waiting. They keep eluding my grasp.

I have to say that seeing the latest Music Ground 4005 auctions was a fair bit disconcerting. If the prices for 4005's get driven that high across the board then who knows if i'll ever be able to get one. Image

I'd have to say a Fireglo 375F would be high on my list, along with a '60s Fireglo 4005.

Oh, and to accompany my 345th post it is only appropriate to include a shot of my 345S. I reserve the right to use the same photo for post number 1998. Image
