Has anyone ever been? I just find it such a bummer that there is this incredible history and I won't be able to see it save for a trip halfway around the world. I have to think that if it were in England or the States that it would be much more popular.

For those who don't know, the museum is the home of John's 2 Rickenbacker 325's (the two six-string's).

It does seem a little..."strange" that it's in Japan. I'm sure MANY core Beatles and Lennon fans will NEVER get to see this treasure trove....

Thanks AGAIN Yoko.

Don't forget how crazy the Japanese are for the Beatles. It doesn't seem that odd a choice when you think about it.

Funny thing is that Japan is where all the new RIC's go first...isn't it?

Why wasn't it set in England? To me, that's where it should have been.

I think Hamburg deserves it more than anywhere else...

Then again, I think London might deserve a Hendrix Museum more than Seattle...were it not for that regrettable ambulance incident, that is...

Well, they could still be in Yoko or Sean's closet.

Lennon left the UK and took his guitars with him.

If you watch carefully you can get a round-trip ticket from Minneapolis or any other major city to Tokyo, Japan for $550. It's definitely worth the price to see all those cool items in one place. They even have the original recording equipment from Percy Phillips home studio on display(where the Quarrymen recorded In Spite Of All The Danger and That'll Be The Day). The Daily Howl is there plus Sport And Speed Illustrated. Even his last acoustic Ovation Model 1651 is on display there. If a person wants to go bad enough it can be done.

Interesting picture....pretty good but they've got Lennon's stance all wrong.

He looks like he's on skis...

Macca looks like...somebody else, Ringo looks like Dustin Hoffman. George is ready to topple.

That's really cheesy, even if it were in someone garage.
Well, no, it'd be pretty cool to build something like that in one's garage.
