http://www.howardkaylan.com/ XM just played three songs from his Dust Bunnies solo effort. Very interesting. You may remember him as Flo of Flo & Eddie.

Absolutely, and as one of the vocalists in the Turtles. And a great voice at that. Didn't realize he had a radio show. I'll have to borrow my daughter's XM to check it out.

He and Mark Volman (Eddie) did backing vocals on a few T. Rex hits in the 70s.

Fran - not a show, but Earle Bailey was doing new releases and played three tracks from Dust Bunnies.

Turtles, Mothers of Invention, Flo and Eddie, Turtles with Flo and Eddie.

He was part of the big Zappa & the Mothers "Fillmore East 1971" band. Of COURSE I know him Image Also known as the Flourescent Leech from 200 Motels.

Yeah, Flourescent Leech became too cumbersome and he went with Flo.

Excellent in terms of vocals and sense of humor. Loved all his stuff ranging from the Turtles to Zappa. Especially that Fillmore East 1971 album.

"Real professional Howie" - that still cracks me up to this day. ;-)
