Vintage Tone Cap Dilemma Solved!

OK- with all the posts lately about putting in the push pull pot,(I think it was a great idea on the new models), I decided that one '73 rick with the cap and one '73 rick with the bypass is the way I'm going to go. You have to switch basses to use it, but I think I'll survive the trauma.

Oh- and I didn't sell all my basses to buy the two '73's, I still have these two "other" models.

I'll take the "other" models . . . you obviously don't need them anymore, what with a capped '73 and an uncapped '73! I'll pay shipping!

Actually this wasn't a post about rick's, that was just a smokescreen, if you see what the common theme is in each picture it will become clearer. *no rick's were harmed in the photographing of the item in question*

Well- that 4004cii was on ebay twice within the last six months so its obviously not a very good bass. And someone also modded the **** out of it so its practically worthless....hee,hee. (Its slowly becoming my favorite bass, inspite of the wider neck).

Is that "other" 4003 silver? I love the silver ones!

Steve that's a white/BT, I guess the light wasn't very good for the picture.

Nice lineup. Is that a fish tank built into your fireplace? That's a cool idea.

Not a fish tank, just some plants and candles, fireplaces don't get used much in Florida.

How do you tell the difference between capped and uncapped bass? Put a post-it note on one?
