Awww, come on guys!!
Those parts are awaiting the time I can get the wood cut to make a cab for 2 12" drivers you can just see the edges of to the left of the bass. The two cabs the Ampeg is sitting on are the woofer boxes from a stereo pair I was building when I got my bass a year and a half ago. They sounded good enough for knocking around with at home, which put an end to the stereo project. Priorities!
My Ampeg 410HLF cab is at the practice house - too dang heavy to keep hauling around. Jeez, the Ampeg is bad enough - I got an SKB case with wheels so I don't have to carry the 70+ lbs.!! It's like wheeling your luggage at the airport.

I'm glad I have a Dakota - sort of staves off the gas attack...
Having home insurance nearly double helps too.
But those things are just too beautiful. Someday I suspect I'll pull the trigger on one...

I build my own speaker cabinets with parts express stuff also ... they have good prices and ship fast ... and it is fun to make my own cabinets ...

The Mrs. does custom embroidery. You should see some of her designs.
Truly stunning...
Ok, shameless plug....here a FEW samples of off the shelf designs.
She designs many herself, some she doesn't.
We too are VERY copyright conscious.
She pays for the rights to the LICENSED designs.
NOTHING ticks her off more than when SOMEONE steals her work!
Hence, my sympathy with the Halls on the copyright issue...
Shrinking them so, doesn't do them justice.
They really are stunning if I
do say so myself.
She's donated a few Police,
Fire & Special Services for 911.
Not big scale, mostly for fun and "pin" money. Some jackets, curtains, framed designs,
pillows, quilts, etc.
