I finally found the car I was looking for.....an '87 Buick Grand National. It turns out that a guy I used to work with had one and I didn't even know. It has 17K, 100% stock (for now

), he's the original owner and basically it looks like a brand new 19 year old time capsule. I'll pick it up next week.
It's not Ric related but cars/bikes are an equally important interest of mine. The biq question is....do I now need to grow a mullet?
(not the actual car)

70's Camaro = Mullet
GN's are way too classy looking for that!

I'm not a big cars fan (albeit i collect models, focusing on VW Beatle & Russian wonder named Zaporozhets), but i like it!
EDIT: aww. Too hot here. Zaporozhets is in fact a Ukrainian wonder, of the times we were all called USSR...

Sheena, you got any pics of the Ukranian wonder?

Alisha: There's quite a few pictures of that "wonder" on the web. There were 4 popular models: "humpbacked", "eared", "soap box" and "Tavria" (ehm). Here's a "humpbacked" (ZAZ-965):

And even modified versions:

How many horsies that GN got?",

Those GN's are pretty serious for a V6! Add a little nitrous & some real chassis tweaking & they'll really scramble someone's eggs on the strip!
There was a dyno clip of a nitrous'd GN that made around 900 hp. The end was nothing but tire smoke & screaming engine. The dyno brake couldn't hold the wheels, so hp was pretty much an estimate.
Just crazy amounts of top end power.
