How many guitars do you have

Earlier this year, we did a gig in Santa Monica (we're an original band), and in the audience was a famous guitarist from a famous band whose famous leader and namesake of said famous band has many famous albums including a famous one with him holding a famous guitar made by a famous company who actually named a famous model after him. So I was excited and later went to their website, where I learned this famous guitar player has something in excess of 500 guitars. My house isn't that big, so I only have seven, including two Rics. So, how many do you have? (Mr. Campbell need not reply, as we know his numbers)

I also have seven, including two Rics. I really need to add an acoustic 12-string to the arsenal, but so far I haven't been able to sneak it past the finance committee.

Currently sitting at five:
650 Dakota
Danelectro Hodad
OLP MM4
Martin 0-16NY (1963)
Synsonics Steinberger copy
OK, in view of the last one, maybe I should say 4 and a half

. I clearly need more Rics, but I, too, have a finance committee to negotiate with....

The inventory is always changing, in fact I have the 620/12 on ebay this week. I'm thru buying (unless something comes along that's too good to pass up), and will likely thin out the herd in the next few weeks.

There are currently 9 around the place here:
- 75 Jazz Bass - bought new by me way back when, and my first real instrument
- 90s 3/4 scale Precision Bass
- Ric 660TP JG - only Ric so far (a 6 string with toasters will be next)
- 91 Les Paul Standard tobacco burst - for raw power..
- 96 Strat Plus - the current 6 string workhorse
- Squire Strat - taught myself on this 6 string
- Magnum LP copy - tacky cherry burst with the Magnum 'single coils masquerading as humbuckers' p/ups. Great neck and action and kept in Keith Richards 5-string open D tuning
- two semi-acoustics
As someone once said:
"How many guitars is enough?"
- "Just one more"
