As I mentioned to Ken, I appreciate his caution to the unwary, but in reality, these Chinese clone auctions disappear in a few days, but keep coming back. I don't think anyone is fooled, and I haven't heard of anyone being suckered into sending money. Yet. Somebody is patrolling.

Paul, check out the negative feedbacks of some of the sellers (especially in the left handed Gibson section). Every now and then they manage to hook someone and reel them in.

I got different Guitar from picture in listing cheap gibson forgery poor quality
still havent recieved the guitar
i never receved the guitar and its been several weeks.

Ken's heart is in the right place, but if stupid people keep bidding, he'll have to pay a final value fee..Unless he cancels all the bids I guess.
I believe Ebay has forums to discuss this stuff as well...

If the buyer and seller both agree to not go ahead with the transaction the final value fees are quashed, and both still get to leave feedback for each other.
