More Meros Tone

Post by markbass99 »

Just saw where somebody put up vids for "the light" from Progfest 95 on Youtube. Best way to find it is search for spocks+beard+progfest. Man what an angry cutting rick tone. I think Dave's tone and Geddy's ESL tone are my top 2 favorites with Squire coming in third.

Just wanted to add that I just saw some vids on Youtube of Nick D'Virgilio playing at the 2003 modern drummer festival. One video he's playing the overture to "Snow" the other he's playing and singing a part of "a guy named Sid". As a bass player I can really appreciate a good drummer and Nick's one of my favorites, he has tremendous feel and groove.
