I saw a Rick ar a used guiter store today that didn't quite look right. It was the body shape of a 650 but in what appeared to be an all natural maple finish like a stripped 325 Lennon model before the Jet glo paint job. Pickguard and R tailpiece were black. Pickups looked to be highgains. The TRC is black w/ white lettering. Was there ever such a beast or has someone been messing with original article.

Sounds like it might be a "610 BT" model. Here is a link to a photo of a Mapleglo 610 with chrome hardware and white plastic parts:

Many of these had black trim from the factory in the 80s and 90s.

This model is the plain version of a 620, which is more or less a solidbody version of a 330. It's got the same wiring (no stereo output) and pickups as the 330 but will be a little brighter sounding due to the solid body.

The 610 has 21 frets as opposed to the 24 of the 330. IMO the front pickup was a bit muddy due to its placement. Great guitar though. I think Mike Parks has one for sale on his web site.

Howdy,
I miss the no-nonsense 610. What a great companion to the 330!
