Well, I am not a advanced rickenbacker owner but my friend has several and he has tought me alot so I would say you could get $4,590 But dont take my word for it. But I do know they dont make those models any more , In fact Go to http://www.rickenbacker.me.uk he has one like that he is selling it e-mail him and ask.

The knobs aren't original, are they? Any other modifications?

The knobs must be replacements. A mint example could venture into 5 figures.

Jeff, I'm pretty sure the US ones had F-holes as well.

The F holes were an option on US made 325's. The cut on this one appears a little different to me than most of that era.

Graham's '67 325 is just that---a 325, and not an RM 1996. The chrome-top knobs IMO are factory on his guitar, and f-holes on these models were a standard feature even on domestic guitars until circa 1980-81.....solid top 325s in the 1960's are super rare. I can only think of about a half-dozen off the top of my head, and two of those were Lennon's 325 and 325/12.

I'm no expert on vintage Rics, but it seems to me I've seen similar vintage guitars to this one recently go for at least twice Kieran's suggested estimate. Based on the prices some current-day Rics are bringing, I'd certainly think it's possible to get up in that price range.

You are correct, Bill. If I could find a 60's 325 for $4K-$5K, I'd break my hand getting my wallet out... :)
