If you can go a little higher, look for a Fender Princeton Reverb on evilbay.

I use a Vox Valvetronix in a Classic Rock band. Lots of great sounds, and built in effects.

Lots of choices in that arena--a new Blues Junior or used Hotrod Deluxe would do quite well.

I recently bought a Fender Blues Deluxe Reissue brand new for $550.00. It has 40 watts and sounds great with all my Rics. Plus, it's a lot easier to lug around than an AC-30. It has the tweed covering to boot.

Vox AC-15. I've got a Vox AD60 that is great...but I've heard only good things about the 15's.

Yeah, that's it. The Vox AC-15 is the obvious go-to choice. A little above your budget but hold out, save a few more coins, you'll be glad you did.
