Ummmm.... If it's north of Toronto, that would mean it's in Ontario, eh.

By golly, I didn't know you were talkin' aboot Canada, eh.
The reason I ask is that I travel a lot and have so far jammed with people in 25 states. I try to seek out these open mic nights and such when I'm on the road. It's something to do at night.

Good one Melissa; It was a good nite last nite, and surprisingly, this jam has lasted for about 11 yrs now, and even when we don't host, we go there quite often. If you looked on a map, you'd be surprised how many people on this forum could get here by boat. We are in Georgian Bay, which is off Lake Huron. But if any one is close, drop in, we'd love to have you....there's some pretty good playing going on, starts 9:30 pm....cheers... ricardo

I wonder if anyone here knows where that came from...

I don't know Jeff. I guess you might have to take it to the max and do some research at beach resorts to find the answer to this one.

Wasaga is 30 mins from Barrie where I live.
I heard today that a woman was struck by lightning while on the beach and killed when a thunderstorm pass through the area. She was the 5th person to be hit this year and the 2nd to die.
Shocking!

Peter, I could use a million vacations right about now.
Paddleboats, surf ladies and sharks... maybe we just need some perspiration 'cause we're frost bitten Canadian boys...

Nice link Peter, although I do have some disagreements with the lyrics posted there (like most lyric sites).
It's nice to see some recognition of one of Canada's greatest bands.

Thank you Peter, I'll check it out after I get thru this weekend, and I still run into Mike Tilka, Max's old bass player, and Greg, all my radio for the past 5yrs has been cbc, I guess I lead a more sheltered listen these days....R
