Apparently he's the Emperor again . . . but instead of the 26th or whatever he was before, now he's the Emperor of Mars . . . too bad, it's a nice bass.

ya ... I am a pretty mellow guy ... except I really don't like racists ... the emperor loves to hate ... and that is wrong on many levels ... I remember a midnight blue 4003 bass he was trying to pawn off as a rare azureglo bass ... I emailed him and said it was not azureglo ... he then sent me some rather hateful racist emails ...

That's a nice bass, I had an identical 75 which I regret selling. They sound nice with a high gain in the old position, nice and deep.

A '75 in not in the "old" position is it? I thought they went to 1" after '74. Please correct me ifn I'm wrong.

His '73 looks just like mine with the exception of the non-original pickguard. I e-mailed the seller to remind him and he said he took it off and saw no other screw holes! Has anyone ever seen a '73 with old style pickguard? And this one looks just like my V-63 guard. The same pointy bit at the neck position and the knob area nearly goes off the edge of the body. Anyway, it is a nice bass.

The pickguard on that '73 4001 IS from a V63, period.

the emperor or monkey face on mars is a liar ... he will say almost anything to jack the price up a few dollars more ...
