Me too Jerry. Maybe the rundown for All You Need Is Love? Looks like post-Magical Mystery Tour? Lennon is solo(without guitar) at the microphone just as he was in the All You Need Is Love broadcast. Anybody else?

I believe you all are correct. They're using the same instruments and also wearing the same clothes they had on for the broadcast(George is using John's Casino too).
Most likely, it's the recordings for the "overdubs" that were on the backing of the broadcast. Very cool pic Peter, I don't believe I've seen it before.

Didn't George use Rocky in the AYNIL video? he may have used the Casino on the recording and Rocky for the video to showcase the pyschedelic aspect.

George used the Casino during the TV broadcast. I've seen photos from the sessions where he used both the Casino and 'Rocky' for the rehearsals.

Thanks Kevin. I like the blond at the tail end of "From Me To You" video. Nice compilation of Beatle stuff.

Jeff Jerdon, I just watched the AYNIL video segment on Anthology. George is using the Strat on the telecast. There's not really a good shot of it but you can plainly see the light blue on the body and the tuners all in a single row on a Fender headstock.

Okay, I've watched it a few more times. It was Rocky during the broadcast of AYNIL.

I stand corrected. I've been paying too much attention to the rehearsal photos with George and the Casino. Thanks Mike.

Actually Mike I should have remembered this was when The Beatles debuted their newly painted psychedelic guitars for the first time to the public (via the TV broadcast). John was also going to play his newly painted (by The Fool) J-160E during the performance, but due to being a bit nervous he decided to concentrate strictly on the vocals instead.

No problem, Jeff. I think someone posted a photo recently on Voxtalks where you can see the psychedelic J-160E , but it's sitting on the floor unused.
