Anyone out there know the intro lick to the Hollies' "Look Through Any Window"? I have always thought it was played on a Rickenbacker 12, but it might have been a Vox guitar. Nevertheless, it is a wonderful 12 string lick, worthy of any RIC player's repertoire. It's not particularly complex, I'm just just having a brain fart and cannot figure it out. Help!!!

Jere,
I used to play that song when it was first released. I am on a business trip right now but as luck would have it I brought a guitar along.
We used to play it in the key of D. The lead runs starts in D moves to C in the fifth fret position. Unfortunately my time is limited right now and so are my tab writing skills. If no one else provides the answer I will map it out for you and e-mail it on the weekend.

I found the tab for this by simply Googling it. It was correct, too; just as Brian says, D to C.
It gives me chills to hear that song. One of the Hollies' best!

I saw a video of the Hollies using a Vox Phantom XII.
I think the song was "Stop! Stop! Stop!"

I've seen photos and videos of the Hollies using both a Vox Phantom XII and a new style Rick 360/12 MG. I think the Vox was mostly being used at the time of 'Look Through Any Window'. I know I've seen them miming the song with a Gibson 335 also!
