Just got a call from our local public radio station, and they have invited me to be their guest artist on their "Women in Music" program . This will help to promote the gig I have with my friend Bill Doucette (together we're "Melibee and Billy D.") on August 3rd at 5:00 pm.
The station is on the internet with streaming audio, so mark your calendars and listen in if you can, Tuesday Aug. 1 at 4:00 pm US Central time. I'll be using my Comstock in the studio.

For the radio show, three of my original tunes, plus interview....
For the gig, a really eclectic mix--LOTS of my original songs, lots of Bill's originals, and a few cover songs: both blues (Bill's specialty) and Christian rock....

From Seinfeld...
Elaine: Here's one. I borrowed Puddy's car and all the presets on his radio
were Christian rock stations.
George: I like Christian rock. It's very positive. It's not like those real
musicians who think they're so cool and hip.
Sorry, I saw this episode yesterday and couldn't stop thinking about it when I read your post.

Hehe.... I like Seinfeld! "Cool and hip?" That's probably not me, but my friend Billy D. certainly is!

He rocks! ....Rumor has it I might, too, once the 481 comes out!
