Mitch: Isn't 'Catch Us If You Can' also called 'Having A Wild Weekend'. That was issued on VHS at one time, and I have it. You can find lots of rare 60's video on DVD-R at
www.thevideobeat.com
(I'm not connected in any way with them. In fact I haven't even ordered anything yet!)

Randy,
Yes, same movie, two titles ... one for UK I believe and one for USA.
[There was a thread a few months ago about DC5 and CUIYC. And, hat has also been mentioned, Mike Smith has been very ill lately:

The album (at least in the States) was called Having a Wild Weekend. First LP I ever owned.

Mitch: Have you seen 'The Ghost Goes Gear' featuring the Spencer Davis Group? It's corny with a stupid plot, but I like it. Excellent picture and sound, available on a real DVD (not DVD-R). One of my favorite 60's films is 'Riot On Sunset Strip' featuring The Standells and The Chocolate Watchband (playing mostly Vox gear). Another lame band appears in the film, and they later became Three Dog Night. This is only out on DVD-R.

I never saw the "Ghost Goes Gear" but I'd like to.I saw Riot on Sunset Strip about 20 year ago,I'd like to see it again.Do you know the name of the british comedy from the late sixties that had several performances by the Pretty Things?I saw it at a friends house a couple of years ago but I don't remember the name

Mitch: I believe there was a movie called 'What's Good For The Goose' or something like that, that may have featured The Pretty Things. I have a DVD of a thriller called 'Bunny Lake Is Missing' (1965) that features performances by The Zombies, but I haven't watched it yet. I recently picked up 'Dateline Diamonds' (1966) on DVD. It features a number of Small Faces performances.

Yep,I think you are right about the name of the movie with the pretty things.Great footage of them in that movie.I saw Bunny Lake is missing about 20 years ago.It was directed by Otto Premienger,I believe.I never heard of Dateline Diamonds but I would love to see that on too.I watched The Fastest Guitar in the West starring Roy Orbison Yesterday.I want one of those guitars with the collapsable rifles built in.

I recently bought 'Dateline Diamonds' and 'Be My Guest' on DVD. The first movie features The Small Faces as themselves and involves a plot to smuggle diamonds by their manager. The second movie features Steve Marriott (of The Small Faces). He was an actor before getting into music.
