Have you got your copy of 'All Mod Cons - Deluxe Edition' yet? It includes a 30-40 minute DVD that covers the history of the band through the making of the album. Lots of great TV and concert footage. Almost 100% Ricks, both guitars and basses. Mr. Hall should be happy to know that all of Weller's interview segments feature a Rick 330 FG hanging behind him, just like the rear sleeve artwork.

All Mod Cons is my favorite Jam LP! Power Pop at it's finest! I bought the deluxe DVD Jam box set that came out a couple of years ago. Is the DVD in the AMC's CD some of the same issued footage or is it new? New mastering?

Karl: The deluxe 'All Mod Cons' is a CD and a DVD. The CD has the original (12) LP tracks remastered, plus (14) bonus tracks. The bonus tracks basically cover the 'News Of The World' EP, The 'Tube Station' EP, (5) demos from the box set, an alternate take of 'Billy Hunt' and (2) previously unreleased demos of 'Mr. Clean' and 'Fly'. The DVD is very well produced, using some of the video from the 'Complete Jam' DVD set together with TV and concert footage I've never seen before. They interview all of the band members (taped recently) and also feature Weller playing 'English Rose' on solo acoustic. A 'must have' for a Jam fan like me. I bought 'In The City' in 1977.

In The City was the first Jam LP I bought as well but not until 1982. I figured a group wearing cool matching suits and matching RIC's had to be good. I was right!
Thanks for the info!

Fantastic! Love that album, though "Setting Sons" (UK and North American versions) is my personal favourite.

"Setting Sons" with bonus trax is pretty good but I wouldn't rate it up there with Sound Affects.
