When Mr. Hall makes "Apple Corp. Green" the official special finish for 2004 to commemorate the 40th anniversary of The Beatles coming to America, we'll talk about it. ;-)

If the Apple Corps Green had a kind of burst to it like the Apple label, it's bright on one spot on the left then gets darker towards the bottom... And maybe a sliced Apple as an inlay on the 12th fret... I'd buy one!

Worthy of what? If I like the color, I consider purchasing. Seafoam Green I liked and bought, Desert Gold and Burgandy I didn't like. Montezuma Brown, I like, I might buy. Interesting concept, one annual "custom" color, I wonder if one color really hits it big if they would consider making it a standard color and thus eliminating any "collector" factor. I love my seaform green 12 sting and hope they never offer it again, I got mine!!

Autumnglo would look great on an acoustic.

Several acoustics have been ordered in Montezuma brown . . . we'll only go it on the Maple sided models however.

Blue Moonglo would be nice. Light silvery blue in the center fading to dark midnight blue on the edges. Did anybody else ever do that paint scheme?

Philco - that's it. That would be my choice. And to Mr. Tidy, actually I meant it the way the young people talk these days, but what I guess I actually said was are they worthy of being considered special, which in a way means, "collectable" and to some dealers, it means a premium billing situation. Me, I like the burgundy, especially since its somewhat translucent. I like the cherry reds of PRS and Gibson.
But that blue, sort of a really icy silver to midnight, I mean dark, blue.
Verrry nice, eh, Mr. Hall?

I know now that I have 3 Rics in the basic colours (MG, FG, JG) I really will consider the annual colour as an option when ordering another guitar or bass. Desert Gold and Burgandy were two colours I would have loved to have ordered if I didn't want to run the Rickenbacker trifecta first. (Of course, Midnight Blue is another great colour too...)

Hey, Gibson just resurrected their Silverburst on their Les Paul Custom line. Wouldn't it be cool if Ric started offering the Silverglo again? I found an old Ric catalog from the 80's and it had the color scheme page- now there's a ton of colors! Azureglo, Autumnglo, Ruby, Silver... Why did they stop producing these vast assortment of colors? Aren't we kind of tired of Jetglo, Fireglo, White, Midnite Blue, and Mapleglo? Don't get me wrong- I love the Fireglo color- but a little variety doesn't hurt. Ya'know like those Kellogs variety packs. One day you want Frosted Flakes and the next is Special K.

I'd like to see a darker blue-green color, like a real sea green.

I strongly, strongly considered getting a burgundy guitar, but the waiting period told to me take a standard color instead.

Did somebody mention Apple Corps Green? How that would stand out on stage or on screen! Not lime, nor jade or shade in between! Grace us, Sir Hall, with this glorious sheen!

Geez, Jerry, you're either a poet or a songwriter, LOL! That would be a cool color. I'm still casting my vote for blueburst.

I'd love to see something like the color of that blueburst 381 that somebody posted here not too long ago. But I've gotten just exactly what I wanted from Rickenbacker the last two years with the Burgundy, and then this year's Montezuma Brown. I just wish I had more money to buy another bass in Mont Brown!!! And of course I have been waiting for 9 months for my 350v63 Mont Brown...Oh, the agony of deferred gratification!
