I recently experimented with flatwounds on my 4003, and without reviving this tired flats vs. rounds debate, suffice to say I'm a roundwound guy.

That being said I have a pack of Rotosound RS77LDs (.45-.105) brand new in the box, as well as a pack of D'Addario Half Rounds (.50 - .105) that are new in the bag. (I already used the box for redemption of D'Addario Players Points...sorry!).

Does anybody want 'em? $30 gets you both packs....

PayPal, money order, whatever. I'm easy. PM me if you're interested.

I actually like the flat sound ... I simulate it by palm muting occasionally ... but most of the time I prefer grind ...

Rotosound flats are not the best ones to try for your first set of flatwounds IMHO anyway.

I'm not real familiar with those, I had one set on a 4003 and sold the bass shortly after.
