Arthur Lee died yesterday - leukemia got him at the early age of 61.

Total bummer. As a kid I had the three albums, "7 and 7 Is" is to me still one of the most radical songs out there.
I remember reading how Burt Bacharach was appalled at Lee's version of "My Little Red Book".

Forever Changes is one of my cruising around L.A. discs.
It's the 1967 soundtrack to that city.

I vaguely remember Arthur Lee but I don't remember the song. Can someone post "Forever Changes"?
RIP Arthur

Brian - Forever Changes is the title of Love's third album, not a song....

Ah! I see. Now it's all so clear to me why I could not remember the song.
Back then I mostly bought singles, so album titles did not mean much to me.

Typical Rolling Stone for getting the year release for Forever Changes wrong "1968". DUH! It was 1967.
