Hi! Is there a factory recommendation for the action at the 12th fret on a Rick 325 C58? I didn´t found any reference to string height in the owner´s manual.
Thanks

I don't believe there's a factory specification spelled out. It's whatever is comfortable for you while not buzzing on any fret.

String height is largely a matter of personal taste, just as string gauge is.

Well, there, Kris, you're not quite right in your analogy.

String gauge on a short scale like a C58 should be heavier, to keep the guitar playing in tune on the upper frets...RIC sells the recommended heavy gauge set for this guitar, #95106 in their boutique, .012-.054 gauge.
