I don't see anyone mentioning Les Fradkin on this forum. Les was "George Harrison" in Beatlemania years ago, and is a wonderful Rickenbacker 12 string player. You can (and should) check out his stuff on www.cdbaby.com. The CD "Jangleholic" would be a good place to start. His RIC tone (apparently he uses a Vox Tonelab and Janglebox) is what I imagine most of us aspire to attain. Highly recommended for any 12 string slinger.

I agree with Jere 100%. Les is a terrific artist who plays a wide array of music, but he is uniquely outstanding on his Ric 12-string. Sort of a cross between Roger McGuinn and George Harrison, with his own twist.

Les was the original George in Beatlemania (1977), and has since gone on to record and collaborate with an eclectic bunch of musicians, including Richie Furay, Edison Lighthouse, the Left Banke, and others.

Jere's also right that "Jangleholic" is a good start, but don't miss "Goin' Back" or his new one, "If Your Memory Serves You Well".

I'm really glad that Les is associated with JangleBox as an endorser.
