After a whole afternoon of a/b testing
High Gains to Toasters.
I just had to do the vintage treatment to the 330. Love those Toaster tops tone. Here it is before transformation during tone testing with original pickups and hardware in the 330.

Kevin.. I am following this... as I did the same thing to my '81 360/12. Vintage Toasters , black knobs, trapeze,& lastly a 12 saddle bridge all added. I did it to Harrisonize it .
Now ...wondering what they are worth with the changes
Bueller???

Kevin, very nice. What year is it? The headstock looks to be vintage size not modern (boat paddle). Did you modify the headstock?

The fireglo shade and pattern (darker area is thicker near the tailpiece) suggests a very recent 330, but that DOES look like a pre-1985 headstock. '70s?
I've done the toaster conversion on my '84 330 with VERY happy results, but I've been on the fence about adding the black knobs. I think I may do it now!
How 'bout a photo of your MODded guitar, showing it from the front?
