In looking over some photos I was surprised to see fret markers on the 21st fret of some Rickenbacker instruments. As a bit of a quiz, can anyone identify these instruments?

I know of one instrument that even had double markers on the 13th fret . . .

The mandolin is another instrument that has some traditional differences.

John: Sorry to have misled. The title should have read 21st fret not 12th. I see your expertise shone through, even with my error.

Lap Steels??

I was gonna say a Combo 850; they have an abundance of dots, but not at the 21st fret.....

Yes excellent John, many lap steels have fret markers at the 21st fret. But there are more.

How about a DC-16 and Console 758?

Yes Corey. Good work. But there are still more.

I may have seen an early '70's 360 with an inlay on the 21 fret.

I know of a 24-fret 360 (1970) with a marker at the 24th fret (!) One of the first......

Interesting John. This is surely one of the earliest models to have this feature. You are a tone and a half too low for this question, though.
