Can anybody tell me what this is?
It's advertised as a 1957 and they are asking $400.
(I posted this in the guitar forum, but I think this where I should have asked first.)

Bill: It could very be 1957 production, possibly 1956 as well. Hard to tell w/o the hardware that had the sn# stamped on it. Some of these Combos had the sn# written in the cavity too, but that's water under the bridge at this point too...I lean more for '57 as it had the larger 'guard covering the control cavity.
