Alright...back from the factory tour...compiling pictures as I type. There's a bunch of them, so it'll probably be later before I get them loaded up.

The tour was fantastic. It was amazing they could keep the plant running with us wandering everywhere. Even though we were divided into 10 - 12 person groups, it was informal enough where we could wander and chat with the employees, see things up close and actually touch and hold instruments in progress.

I think we all took pictures of the stacks of fretboard and body blanks, racks of just painted and polished guitars, and sadly the acoustic construction area, literally gathering dust, with guitars looking almost abandoned in mid build.

I've taken a few industrial type tours (Harley Davidson, brewery tours, etc) this was definately the best - just for the fact that it was so unconfined. I can only imagine what they had hidden away that we couldn't see!

Unfortunatly I only had my camera phone, but will post asap.
