Magic

I just got back from, most likely, the last 'event' of the Confluence. Dinner at the Claim Jumper's. One sentiment that was echoed repeatedly was that this was definitely a once-in-a-lifetime event. For all of us.
Ric made all of us an integral part of their 75th Anniversary celebration. They opened their doors to us - literally. They made us an integral part of their 75th celebration. As a company, they were under no obligation or expectation to host such an event as they did. I can hardly imagine another big name guitar manufacturer doing such an event.
To those of us fortunate enough to attend, the Confluence definitely took the feel of an extended family with members from all over the globe. At dinner tonite, there were some misty eyes and it's easy to see why. We've all shared something that, I'm sure, none of us expected to experience. This is the stuff of our dreams growing up being music fans and fans of Ric instruments and artists.
I hope to see many of the members in the near future. I'm fortunate to live in the area, and I feel blessed to have met the attendees from around the globe.
With this in mind, I wish to thank the Rickenbacker International Corporation for a weekend that, I think, can only be described as - magic.
