Thank you to all

I don't know where to begin except to say thank you to all of you. From the Rickenbacker management and employees to all of the members of the forum and their wives, husbands, and friends -- you were all super.
I truly appreciate the fact that so many people gave of their time and energies and participated in both formal and informal interviews with me. To thank each of you by name would be almost impossible and I know I would forget to mention many of you, but I do want to thank Kenny Howes for allowing me to come and gather stories about Rickenbacker and its loyal customers/players.
And as so many other people have said -- Kenny you rock!! Thanks for the music.
I also want to apologize to those of you I didn't get a chance to interview. If you would allow me I would like to continue interviewing people by telephone. I will post something later in the week asking for telephone numbers so that I can call people who were at the event and who would like to share with me the stories of their guitars and their love of Rics.
After our Sunday night at the HOB I wanted to ask everyone on the bus what their best memory/ies of the weekend were, but because it was after 2 am it just didn't seem like the time for tape recording your responses. I was beat and I think others were as well. So I'm asking now for people to post their best memories of the weekend. Give me the one or two or three things that you'll always remember.
Here's a couple of mine.
Meeting and talking with Bjorn about his web site. If all of the people in Sweden are as thoughtful as Bjorn I certainly would like to visit there.
Seeing Alisha playing on Friday night -- that was pure joy for her and that's what playing music is all about.
Turning 58 at the HOB while listening to Kenny and John up on stage. Yep, my birthday was August 28.
The Smithereens -- they know rock'n roll. This used to be my house!!
So please share with me you memories. Post them in response to this posting here on the forum or if you like email me at [email protected].
One final word -- you are an incredible group of people and John Hall the way you approach your customers with an ethic of responsibility and care is remarkable. I saw nothing but good things!!
Aitch -- I expect a call when you come to St. Louis.
