I need 2 threaded toaster pickup mounting plates for a RIC bass. I have 2 pups but they have the mounting plates for guitar wich are not threaded. I need 2 that are threaded for bass. I will gladly trade even up if someone desires or pay for them. Thanks

Hey Ben, I can spare two threaded securing (mounting) plates. They're from '80s high-gain pickups. You can have them for free.

Why do you need two with the threaded holes? What is your application?

I bought two guitar toasters and I wanted to use them on a bass...or maybe two basses. If I mount them on a pick guard I will need them to be threaded. I could thread the ones I have and use the next screw size up but not if I didn't have to.

So I take it this is not for a RIC bass?

Of course it's for a RIC bass. My old Dec. 73 4001 needs a toaster.

Are you putting a toaster in the bridge position, too?

Jeff....No..just the neck. I just happened to buy two toasters from a forumite and wanted to have both bass ready. You have a toaster in the bridge position on a 4003 right? How's it sound and how did you mount it there?
