Which Beatles song is this?

OK... this has been driving me crazy for the past few months - There's a song by The Beatles, or perhaps a George Harrison solo composition, that I've heard many times, but is NOWHERE in my entire collection of all the Beatles albums. It has instrumentation similar to 'Within You, Without You,' and sounds like it came from that same era. The only words I can remember are:
"Without going out of your door..."
That's how the song starts. Towards the end of the song, there's a three-part harmony section with the refrain:
"Know all without knowing
Do all without doing
See all without seeing..."
Help! I need someone to tell me what song this is!

THE INNER LIGHT (b/side to Lady Madonna).
"Without going out of my door
I can know all things on Earth
Without looking out of my window
I could know the ways of Heaven
The farther one travels
The less one knows
The less one really knows
Without going out of your door
You can know all things on Earth
Without looking out of your window
You could know the ways of Heaven
The farther one travels
The less one knows
The less one really knows
Arrive without travelling
See all without looking
Do all without doing."
Jeff Lynne and Ravi Shankar's daughter did a very nice version of this in "The Concert for George"

McCartney long ago ('60's) praised the melody of "The Inner Light", saying something to effect of forget the instrumentation, listen to the melody. Faint praise, I guess.

Great! Thanks, guys. I KNEW I wasn't just hearing voices in my head. (On this occasion, at least)

The voices in your head are more beautiful and real than any others, of course (taking the song seriously)...

Jeff Lynn does a good version on The Concert For George with the South Asian orchestra.

Hmmm... Maybe you did, maybe you didn't. It's all in the mind, you know...

>>forget the instrumentation, listen to the melody.
I've always thought that too. That would be a great melody to use for a new song with a different feel.
