From the Rickenbacker Forum mailbox.
Hi.
I would like to clean some minor scratches on the chrome parts of my 4001. Any ideas to help, or things NOT to do?? Cheers, Geoff Lincoln

One word: Maas. This polishing creme cleans ANY type of metal and is by far THE BEST stuff I've ever seen in my life. A 2 oz. tube sells for around $5.50 plus tax in my area and can be purchased at my local Winn-Dixie grocery store. I don't know how well it will cover the scratches but you cannot go wrong with this metal polish in regards to cleaning. Once you try it you'll wonder how you ever got along without it.

I'll second the Maas. Great stuff, better than any other I've ever used. You can find it at most Walgreen's stores, I've also seen it at Walmart and Home Despot before.
