Overpriced, but that seems to be the norm in the U.K.

Omigosh, it looks just like a 1996 reissue! (TIC)

Actually, this guitar has the F-hole in the less common position (1 o'clock?). And the F-hole shape is more angular and less round.

OK, OK, I was going by first impressions...

Yeah, not like those low priced old Rickenbackers they sell at Guitar Center.

If it was bought new in the UK in 1966, then I suppose it's possible that it's a 1996...hard to prove w/o documentation.

It IS a nice '66 325 at the very miniumum, but they are asking too much--closer to a '64 price for it IMO....

I think the "1966" might be a typo in his ad- he says it's a '64.

Just curious--did Ric make these over a period of years for Rose-Morris, or was it a single run of the various models?

Not with that F hole.

I personally like the angle of the f hole better on the 1996 and on the one Paul installed on my 350V63. IMO it has more character in that position.

My bad, I was looking at the wrong thing in the listing...Yes, a '64.

If it is a DExxx sn like it is reported to be, then it is probably one of the first made with the 2nd variation f-hole, or "1pm" style.

Chances are quite good it is a RM1996, just part of the later type that was shipped. Either way, it's still a lot of $$$$$.

So what is it REALLY worth? John M's book puts it at $8,400-$10,100. Anyone concur?

Yes...when you remove all of the dealer driven market-hype, this sounds like a realistic range IMO. I think his range is accurate.

She's back up again--discounted about $1.8K since the last auction.

I wonder if the Chinese will discount it too?
