I am on the verge of buying a new 4003 for myself and I was wondering, is Rhoads Music in PA a good store? Thanks.

Marc,
John at Old Boise Guitar has a beautiful fireglo finish in stock. I was just there yesterday and he had just received it. It isn't even out on the floor yet. I'm kicking around getting it myself. Anyway Marc, in case you are interested his number is 208-344-7600. I'd be happy to send you some photo's if you would like.
I've never dealt with Rhoads Music, but I have heard nothing but good things about them by the forum members here and elsewhere.

Marc, I have dealt with Jim many times, and he is just a few miles down the road from me.
Good guy!
Brian, email sent.

Brian. I would love to see pictures of the 4003FG at Old Boise. Jim sent me pictures from Rhoads Music and the FG is not pinkish, just what I am looking for. Thanks.

Jim Rhoads is a great guy to deal with. My 660/12 came perfectly set up and arrived here in Montreal two days after I ordered it.
His attention to details like customs paperwork and the set-up were perfect. It even arrived in tune (in February, in Montreal, around -5°F outside).

Where is Rhodes Music located in PA?? I can't find their website with Google. I'm moving back to PA next year and would like to check them out. I'll be in the market to own a Rick bass again!!!! I'll be living in State College, PA....or thereabouts.

Lived in State College for two years while grad student at Penn State. (Many years ago.)
ScottPro, if it's alright to ask, what brings you to Happy Valley?

Jim's store is in Elizabethtown, which is precisely half way between Harrisburg and Lancaster. Jim's a great guy.
