On an older thread regarding David Coyle's 335 restoration, what type of sealer did you use?
Was the top clear coating the PPG product?

The best sanding sealers I've found are the vinyl type sealers made by Behlen, Lenmar, Benwood, and lots of local manufacturers. It's an acrylic butyrate type, goes on well and sands without loading the paper. It provides good adhesion to both color and clear coats.

The clear I use is PPG 2042 catalyzing urethane.
