I just found out about two days ago that KT Tunstall played in Buffalo. Now I'm a huge fan so I'm super ****** off that I missed it. Actually a friend of mine that I got to like her stuff knew about the gig and he didn't tell me. I have the bootleg on now though (TY Internet! And after listening to this, she's much better live than on cd.) but I'm just upset. She played a few of my favorite songs and new songs! Grrr. Plus her parents were there! How often does that happen?
Sorry, I just wanted to vent. This probably happened to a bunch of you guys too huh?
Hopefully I don't miss the next show I want to go to, Queensryche in Toronto on November 1st. They're doing both Operation: Mindcrime albums and putting on a huge show with actors, new films, costumes and Pamela Moore singing on more than one song.

Ha,ha, I can see why you might not believe me, but no, sorry Nate, I love the band. Their songwriting is as good & powerful as any young band that I have come across....& better news, I have just found out that they are in Plymouth (40 miles from me) in March, so I'll be OK!!!!!

I just thought you'd be messing with me on the whole new music thing. I think My Chemical Romance are good, but the whole "emo" thing kinda puts me off. That guy can really scream though.
Hell, I went to see Ashlee Simpson during the summer, that was one amazing show. That girl can really belt it out.
Just 40 miles? Wow, I hope you make it. I need to wait for Tunstall's next tour, like I had to with Ashlee, to see her. I was in NZ when Ash came to Buffalo on her first tour, but she cancelled the show do to "acid reflux".
I have to travel to another country to go see Queensryche.

I missed the Beatles at the Hollywood Bowl in 1964, but saw them in 1965 there and at Chavez Revene(Dodger Stadium) in 1966. They had to be taken out in an armored truck after their Lincoln Continental Limo was blocked by wild fans running onto the field... 1965 H.B. was great, for $9.00 we got $6.00 seats behind the orchestra pit, alot of money back then for a 17 yr. old. Must say they were great and the girls took up most of the concert seating...

Had tickets for Zeppelin for their last tour, but it was not to be.
Never got to see the Stones. Now I don't want to.
The Beatles quit touring before I was born, but I did see Macca in 1989.

You're joking, right?
My buddy Kevin Devine has been opening for K.T. on tour over the past few months, wasn't sure if he was playing that particular show.

The U2 Tour in '89. My mom said, that I was too young. Hey I was 15! Saw them twice later, but they were never as good as they were then IMHO...

No, John, not joking, it was an amazing show. She got really into a some of the songs. The people I brought with me liked it too. One of them wasn't even a big Ashlee fan til after that show.

That's a trade off I'd make without a second thought, & I like Carlin.
Never seen either.
I missed Colin James just before he went into the big band thing. The show was cancelled.
