Rick basses at the R&R Hall of Fame

I'm in Cleveland on the tail end of a three and a half week trip with the little woman leaf peeping, but today it snowed. We went through the Rock Hall today for a six hour stay. Great place, but I was surprised and the dearth of Rick basses -- only two in the whole place. Dozens of Fenders and Gibsons all through the place. The only Rick basses were Rick James' on display near the coatroom in the lower level, and a Burgundy 4001 that belonged to the original bassist for the Sex Pistols who was replaced by Johnny Rotten.
Also noted that YES has not been inducted yet. Certainly eligible. Maybe we should start a campaign to get them nominated? Don't know if they have been nominated, but hell, the Ramones are in, why not YES?

Johnny Rotten was the lead singer. The bass belonged to Glen Matlock, who was replaced by Sid Vicious.
How about Rick guitars, Paul?

More guitars, Carl Wilson's original 360/12, George Harrison's (?) Jetglo, Lennon's 425/12 and Campbell's 650/12(?) and 362/12 double-neck (I don't know my guitar models well).

Was the Glen Matlock bass 'modded' or original?

I was there not long ago myself, and the Rickenbackers I saw were (from the Petty exhibit) the '63 625/12 and a '75 362/12 in Jegtlo...Beatle Ricks were Lennon's 325/12 from '64 and George Harrison's '62 425, which has two pickups now, modded at a later date.
Nothing of McGuinn's was on display that I could find, the 341/12SF was there when I went in '04.
The only 12-string I saw of Carl Wilson's was his Epi Riviera...if the Rick was there I missed it, sadly..

For those of you who watch VH1 Classics from time to time, there is a short interview that they play with one of the VJ's, Eddie Trunk, where he sounds off on the R&R HOF. He calls it a joke and says that until they get it right, they shouldn't even call it that. He also felt that RUSH was way past due and wondered how they could pass over Deep Purple, KISS and Van Halen. Just in case the HOF gets ****** at VH1 and stops giving them access to the awards ceremonies, they precede and follow the interview with a disclaimer. No balls...

I vote for Yes also.
The R&R HOF is a joke in who they induct and who they haven't. Not to say a lot there don't belong, but sooo many that should be who aren't.

the rock & roll hall of fame....IS...a complete joke........but then, most halls of fame are.......i spose that to be a member of the governing body, one would first have to have their brain removed !!!!
